Some signs that you may be struggling with body image:

  • Spending a lot of time worrying about your weight and the shape of your body.

  • Weighing yourself regularly.

  • Body checking: looking at your body from different angles and/or touching spots of your body to see if they have changed in any way.

  • Dieting.

  • Avoiding social events due to the way you look.

  • You work out harder on poor body image days or on days where you felt you “ate too much”. 

  • You feel disconnected from your body.

  • You place a lot of your self-worth on the way your body looks. 


It is possible to free yourself from the constant self-criticism about your body. 

You don’t need to be constantly consumed by all of these thoughts and behaviors.
